Galina Kerimova

Galina Kerimova ,a Russian-Ukrainian artist specializing in beautiful watercolor paintings, has made her home in Japan and has been using her talents to capture the unique beauty of the places she visits across the country. She left art school after 8 years in 2006 to take the leap and begin her career abroad at the age of 22. She became immersed in Chinese and Japanese language & culture while living in Harbin from 2008-2010. In 2011, she started sharing her knowledge to teach art in schools in China and Hong Kong. While we are showcasing her gorgeous watercolor paintings, she also enjoys working with oil. Her current passion is in urban sketching. Especially old-style buildings to help preserve the unique architecture's heritage in her watercolors.
